gombak ride

today on leave so go for gombak ride,
ride from wangsa maju to taman melati,
then into jalan gombak, from there head straight to bentong,
found hospital orang asli, from there all the way up hills,
then cycle cycle until sign showed bentong 41km,
them turn back,coz water already finish,
all the way down hill, stop at hospital orang asli for water refill,
and straight head back to home,
very nice ride...

First Ride

Today suppose to ride to Kuala Kelawang(130km) with Bacin group, tapi last minutes join a group from Cheras ride to Genting Peres (50km), think manpus kat tepi jalan if ride 130km route ... Meet Ajeep, Bacin, Zebra and other rides,Bacin group Pecut dulu then follow by our group

Aku tu beginner so follow kat behind, learn bahasa tangan, signal left, signal right, signal lubang pun ada...from BT14 cycle to BT18 then turn right, lepas tu cycle cycle sampai ke junction, kiri bukit, kanan pun bukit, nampak sudah takut...first time cycle naik peres, hantam aje...Chee Wa turbo naik bukit sebelah kiri, i pun ikut kat belakang, yang lain entah tak ikut, kasih i pergi dulu, memang susah naik bukit, baru kejap kaki dah nak cramp, naik bukit tu, kejap susah, kejap senang, tapi view kat atas cantik, half way kena potong by 3 cyclist, dua guna racing bike, satu lagi guna tri bike, dekat 1 km nak sampai top, kena potong by Steven dan Jackie, makin susah nak naik kaki dah lemah, dah la makin stiff bukit tu, last 100m, tekan kau kau lat, yea, make it to the top... Borak borak kat situ while waiting for uncle Meng and another guy.
Kena ask by Questions:

Dia Orang: Kenapa bawa bag? Kan berat tu, apa dalam bag?
Fook: Tak ada Jersey la so bawa bag, angkat air, tube, wallet, handphone etc…
Dia Orang: Sebelum ni kayuh kat mana?
Fook: Kat taman.
Dia Orang: Naik bukit mesti pakai Clipless senang sikit, Bila nak upgrade Clipless?
Fook: Kasut ka? Berapa?
Dia Orang: Dekat rm200, tapi u kena tukar pedal juga, dekat rm200.
Fook: Like dat ar… *Glup*

Then 3 rider dari group lain sampai. Nak join us turun bukit. Uncle Meng and another rider dah sampai kejap lagi pecut down hill la. Another uncle datang pulak, he is more than 70yrs old, tapi dia tak stop dia kayuh pergi klawang. So we proceed downhill, shiok laju nya, kap corner pula, dah la ingat I laju, tapi pun kena potong by another rider...

Stop kat junction when we 1st start naik bukit sebelah kiri, tunggu the rest come, now naik bukit sebelah kanan pula, this one confirm susah, coz I stop 3-4 time… tapi tak tinggi macam peres. Reach top and go down hill again, kali ni Chee Wa pecut dengan Ferarri and Porch. Last last pun kalah, drafting Ferarri pun tak jadi sebab kereta tu terlalu rendah. Now we reach back to BT14, take breakfast dan balik rumah masing masing…

7:30am,
Lembah Kiara, TTDI.
fetch Grace(3rd Adult) at 6:30am,
meet Chen(4th Adult), Gradeline(2nd vet) and EL(Adult Top10) there,
get alot goodies from there,
there was bazzar as well,
after the run meet Rahul and Karen(1st Young),
we left after Grace collect her big hamper,
the MC say "you dont look like adult, u look so young'
what a great compliment for Grace,
lucky the MC dint ask her age...

after fetch Grace home, i went to Kepong Metropolitan Park,
the park was great place for bike ride,
great view of the big lake,
so like the feel of riding bike,
the speed and the winds hitting my face...

i just realize every Sunday i was busy with running,
so today felt weird for me,
so free...
so I decide go The Curve to do some shopping,
manage to get a Coke for my bro,
a visor and resistance cable fro myself,
the Curve was well decorate with Christmas Blues...

5h35m3s, it was fun but not satisfie, cramp at 18km, my heart wanted to run but my thigh just could not run, very painfull, don't know what to do, streaching it also painfull, the rest of the marathon just walk and run...
