Who is this Mr. How who said you will take 10 years to be like him? Is he a superfast runner or what?

its true tey say me not natural runner, i ask his permission before i post this blog, i dint blame him, but really i had to train hard, no easy way for me, mr.how is my boss... he just tease me... continue train hard ya, sub 2 sub2 sub2...

I explain and take example to fook,cause like me and him also not a natural runner,not like Richard,so we must train hard,if without train hard,can't just set target only.But fook determination is good.Just less mileage,train with him last sunday LSD.

Sometime mental is important,like u after return from LSD ,hill route,during CNY day with u ? U stop and walk ? Difficult part if pass,sure u timing will improve...!!

fook: i'm also not a natural runner but i've full of spirit of pia. running to me is not only doing the act of running but also living the running lifestyle! like i always say, patience is really a virtue. keep at it but dont rush it and it will come. learn to train in cycles and peak at the right time. you can do it!

fook, i may not know u but saw it on carboman's blog. anyway prove them wrong, and that wil inspire u to train better and put up a friendly challenge to them, like if i run 10k u run 10k with me, deal!!!! after that ppl will tabit you man.....

Train hard and smart, sure ok wan. The most important, love the sport then you will keep on doing the right thing until you reach your real potential. I understand that you are trying to gun down the time but then, like Jamie said don't rush. Things will come by itself. Also, try to read up more on the sport and you will begin to understand even more about your ownself!

We are also not natural runners. If we train harder, we can achieve our dream. As an encouragement for you to do sub-2 hr in Bidor,in the Alibaba run, we will challenge each other, i.e. i'll go all out for the 6 laps. Hope you can beat me with all your efforts. I'll later run for another 3 to 4 laps at relaxed pace.

Can this alibaba run really help in Bidor half ? 2.3km x6= 13.8km nia.Big different to 21km lah,even u 101% all out !!!
Don know how to help fook ? hmmm...may be need expert to explain...!!!

My opinion is if fook not feel pressure,enjoy the race,try his maximum potential and fully concetration,that will help him in preperation ,am I right ?

Sometime,runners desire to challenge others for better and improve results,but I don't like other peoples to challenge me especially like disturb me,if just friendly to pace each other without feel pressure,that I will welcome them.And they must ask permission from me too.Cause pacing in race actually is illegal one,is it ?

But please,if any runners want to challenge me in race,just do diam-diam lah..haha..sayur me as u can,I don't care !!BUT PLEASE DON'T DISTURB ME !!!!

tey,carboman,c-cube,sim : thanks for ur all advise, only way to win is to train,there is no easy way out, and the love for running is important to keep me running, after all i run for myself, i ll do my best.
jason : thanks for ur encouragement, but my only rival was myself, i dont wan rival u or anyone, please do ur best in the alibaba run, i still beginner, i cant handle pressure in run especially wan beat u,i think i cant beat u, u had more experience than me, i still learning to improve my speed and endurance.
Tey : u r rite, wan challenge biar diam diam so no pressure... when no pressure sure can get good result...

hi all,

i think it's time to go back to basic. this is what i have not been thining for these past 2 months as i have been involved in many climbing trips (5 mountains!)recently.

we should challenge ourselves to improve our timing rather than challenge other in the run. by doing so, naturally we will improve.

although pacing is illegal in the race, who cares? Unless you are running to get prizes in the race no one going to bother unless you disturb a person in the run

i believe most of us have used pacing in our race before ?

if pace, we should do it until we do not disturb or obstruct runners i.e we should allow other fast runners to overtake us. We can then try to overtake the fast runners later, if possible.
